(O)Mega Giveaway! The Mega Horde! THIS GIVEAWAY NOW CLOSED

One year ago to the minute (thanks to handy dandy scheduling) I posted my first post, my alpha if you would.... But a year, now that's a long time to stick with something. I'm not doubting my own staying power but yours! For a year you've all been listening to me ramble and rant from books to the BBC, lately a lot about Gene Hunt and The Doctor, but through it all you've been here. To that I saw huzzah! Followed by, would you like some prizes? It's been such a wonderful time meeting and talking to you all that I feel a reward is in order. So, as the year mark denotes... this is going to be big! It will also be ever expanding... well, I'm sure there's some point I'll prolly cut it off, time will run out, but till that time, oh yes!

The Prizes (ever expanding):There is one guaranteed prize, that of a $25 gift card to But once I officially hit 200 (I know, I'm technically there with networked blogs, but seeing 195 is so close) I add in a book. I get another 25, I add in another book, and so on and so forth. So this could be one really big prize that could potentially have many winners. Possible books are Beautiful Creatures, The Reckoning, The Princess Bride, the hoard list goes on and on. Cause this is basically a Mega Horde giveaway. And if you'll look below, there is already an added prize! So let's keep those numbers shooting skyward!

I have to say Mockingjay. I'm hosting Hunger Games Training on Thursdays this summer for my teens at the library. We'll all be headed into the Arena at the end of July to crown a champion. Obviously not a battle to the death, but still a lot of fun. I hope!

+1 I'm really looking forward to the release Mockingjay and Spirit Bound! I'm always keeping an eye out for new releases and new authors.

Congrats on the anniversary. I have followed you for some time now and enjoy each and every post. I wish I could tell you I am waiting for something wonderful but I do not follow series. I do hope Sir Pratchett comes out with another Disc World novel..oops that is a series LOL.
I am ever hopeful my favorite nonfiction author Karen Armstrong will come out with another book, but I never count on it.
Good luck with the contest. I will be sure to tweet about you tonight.

Congratulations!! A year of blogging is a brilliant achievement. I'm always in awe of the dedication you readers put into making your blogs amazing! Wishing you many more years of blogging goodness :)

+1 Having just recently finished Spirit Bound - I am dying for Last Sacrifice!! December is TOO LONG a wait! And of course, Mockingjay!! Two books I desperately need. Then Crescendo, Torment, Linger, Matched, Nighshade... I should stop now, huh?

Awesome giveaway, thank you!!

(and HUZZAH! to you, too!)
Mine is coming up. Haven't got a clue what I'm going to do for it, but since I am going to ALA, I figure I'll find some goodies.
Now on to the fun stuff:
+1 I had so many things I was waiting on that I really should still be waiting on, but Reasons #702 I love Book Depository: I can get the UK copies when they come out before US (which is why I have 2/3 of my big "waiting on"s for the year, Monsters of Men and The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet. And they both shipped early!!!)
So the only one left is Mockingjay. I do have plenty of smaller waiting ons too, but that's topping the list.

+Answer to question. I'm looking forward to a ton of new books.. it's so hard to pick! I'm looking forward to the third installment of The Demon's Lexicon trilogy and Cassandra Clare's new series. Tamora Pierce's new book. I'm also looking forward to Mockingjay-- but dreading it also. As much as I want to know how Katniss's tale will end, I don't want it to end!

Congratulations and thanks for the awesome giveaway!

I'm an old follower! I'm most looking forward to Twice Bitten by Chloe Neill that comes out this July.

+1: I am, like everyone else, looking forward to the release of Mockingbird. But, I am also looking forward with great anticipation to the Hunger Games movie and info about who's playing which character. This is not necessarily publishing, but this could do even more for the HG series than it already has. It'll be HUGE-Mongous!

+1 Hmm for me it's mostly books as well. I'm not a big fan of e-books, preferring physical books, so it's hard to think of anything in the general publishing world I'm really looking forward to.

But BOOKS in the coming year... well! MOCKINGJAY (should go without saying), Maria V Snyder's SPY GLASS (final book in her GLASS trilogy), and Patrick Rothfuss' THE WISE MAN'S FEAR, which is meant to be released next March.

Also looking forward, on a slightly smaller scale, to Juliet Marillier's next SEVENWATERS book, SEER OF SEVENWATERS (although I'm starting to get a teeny bit sick of the Sevenwaters crowd); PARANORMALCY by Kiersten White; and of course BITTERBLUE by Kristin Cashore... whenever that ends up being released (last I heard, next April, but who knows)!
