I know you want some Tudor drama, and she's the queen of Tudor historical fiction. I'm also going to a talk she's giving today at the Tivoli Theater in Illinois, so I should have some interesting stories to post when the winner is announced. I am actually a King Henry VIII kind of girl. He made a lot of mistakes in his reign, but he also did wonders for the architecture and the military. He made his mistakes, but he also did some good in his time too.

This is such a terrific contest! There have been so many intriguing British Monarchs that it is hard to choose. I love all of the Tudors in general. Ok well love is the wrong word but am fascinated by them all. I can't help but give kudos to Katherine Parr for outliving Henry VIII.
